Corset Story is part of an international family of websites and together they are the world’s biggest corset retailer and distributor. Media Beard works closely with Corset-Story on their UK, US and AU Digital Marketing Strategy. This includes Social Media Strategy and Development, Social Media Management, Digital PR, Creation and Sending of weekly Newsletter Campaigns, Magento/Website support and Creation of Imagery on Photoshop. As an e-commerce business, having a strong digital marketing strategy is incredibly important to Corset-Story as it enables the brand to sell directly to their customers in a really different, creative and positive way.

Since working with Corset-Story, Media Beard has created an innovative solution to selling products directly through Facebook using a daily sales feature called Corset of the Day. Not only does this generate great interactions and increases the fan base, it generates an impressive ROI for the company. We also built a really positive community on the Facebook page, not only of corset enthusiasts but also brand advocates. We host weekly Q&A sessions to ensure any customer questions, whether this is regarding sizing, outfit composition or even which style would suit a certain shape, which boosts the ‘Talking About This’ and also further enhances the community atmosphere the page has built a positive reputation for. Lastly, we also use Facebook for product development and feedback and this enables the brand to ensure their new product lines are steered in the right direction for the consumer.

We have since started to develop G+, Twitter, Pinterest, Polyvore and Instagram for the brand which is proving to also be very successful. Pinterest gives fans the opportunity to pin garments they might want to purchase, Twitter enables us to communicate with fans of corsetry or the brand in general and even assist with any positive or negative feedback. G+ is a great platform for blog styled content to improve SEO and hosting live Q&A sessions, while Instagram gives the brand opportunity to assist with styling and outfit composition which is incredibly important for some customers when it comes to choosing their perfect corset for their special occasions. We’re also in the process of creating a brand new strategy to redevelop their YouTube channel to further increase the brands online presence.
